Special Announcement
This week: A brief hiatus and our best wishes for a Happy Holiday Season.
“I will live in the past, the present, and the future. The spirits of all three shall strive within me.”
― Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
Instead of our usual edition of The Sunday Wire, I want to share a brief update about what we've accomplished in 2025 and our plans for the remainder of the year.
Over the past several months, the Institute has grown in scope, ambition, and responsibility. It's been a period of intense planning, experimentation, testing and refinement. We've learned a lot along the way.
Now, at the end of that year of intense effort, we have firmly concluded our best structure is as a traditional think tank. Anything which deviates from our core mission of civic research and education — and our principled advocacy of Whig values — simply doesn't belong.
In that vein, to streamline the Institute and to ensure we enter 2026 with the strongest possible foundation, we’re taking the rest of December to complete the website revisions and conduct a full 360‑degree review of our operations, publishing structure, and member experience.
This short hiatus is intentional. It gives us the space to tighten the framework, sharpen our mission delivery, and prepare the Institute for the work ahead.
So, this is our final edition of The Sunday Wire for 2025. Regular distribution of this full weekly newsletter will resume on Sunday, January 4, 2026, as we begin the new year with renewed clarity and momentum.
As always, thank you for your continued support and engagement. We’re building something meaningful together, and I’m looking forward more than ever to sharing what’s next with you.
And finally, please accept our warmest wishes for a happy, safe and joyful Holiday Season and a very Happy New Year.
See you in 2026.
